Our three Rules:
THRIVE UNDER PRESSURE.
Quality and Quantity
We are looking for experienced photographers (who have preferably photographed some gymnastics before) to help photograph gymnastics meets we will be covering. We photograph gymnastics meets of all levels (2-elite). We will provide training- as little or as much needed to the right candidates. We provide cameras & lenses, but if you have your own that is consistent with equipment we use, you may use your own. Pay is on a per-event basis. Pay depends upon what you are able to contribute to the process. This will vary by experience & your overall willingness to adapt & learn. We like to remain on the cutting edge of technology & photography--constantly looking for ways to improve not only ourselves, but our workflow & enhance our end product. So, if you like for things to remain "the way things have been done in the past", we are probably not the right fit. Traveling will be required. Usually meets are at least 2-3 days and the entire team stays near the meet site. Meet weekends are long days and hard work, but are very rewarding & fun!
Thank you for your interest in working with GymFocus. We are very excited that we've been able to grow as rapidly as we have. We would love the opportunity to add fantastic artistic gymnastics-enthusiasts to our ranks. Please fill out the application form below so that we can get to know you!
Passionate, self-starters who are gymnastics enthusiasts
Lightroom knowledge a plus
Living in Southern California is helpful, but not required
Tell the story.
Every photo we post goes through 7 steps of editing. The workflow consists of importing, organizing, culling, editing, review, exporting and uploading. We are looking for on-site editors, as well as editors who would work remotely. Pay depends upon what you can contribute to the workflow. Training is provided. There are different levels of editing that you can contribute, depending on how quickly we can get you up to speed.
Thank you for your interest in working with me! I am very excited that my gymnastics photography has been able to grow as rapidly as it has, and reach just about every level within gymnastics that there is. With that means growth- and with growth, we need more great people! This is why I would love the opportunity to work with fantastic gymnastics-enthusiasts like yourself. Please fill out the questions below so that we can get to know you better
